Microsoft Power BI Pro allows users to build reports with colleagues and share insights with other Power BI Pro users across the organization.

General Terms & Conditions

Eligibility

Departments could purchase Power BI Pro licenses for students for the following two use cases:

  1. For students working on their academic projects such as senior design projects. The licenses will be granted on students' regular UConn email addresses.
  2. For student employees who are working on projects for the department under the employment. The licenses will be granted on students' work email addresses sponsored by the departments

A Faculty/Staff from the department should place the order to purchase the licenses for their students.

Cost and Payment

  • The cost per user license is $23.63.
  • Departments should use a KFS account to purchase the licenses.
  • KFS accounts will be billed by the ITS Business Office at the time of fulfillment.
  • Purchases will take 24-48 hours to fulfill during normal business hours, Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm, excluding University holidays.

Expiration and Renewal

  • Unless renewed, licenses expire annually on 7/1 or when students graduate
  • To renew your subscription, please resubmit this form
