Faculty and Staff have several options to access or download Microsoft Office and Windows. Affiliates and UConn Health Faculty/Staff need to purchase a Microsoft 365 license to access Office applications or log into UConn Classroom and Conference room computers.

Please review the following information and select a download option that fits your role and requirements. If you need assistance determining your best option, contact the Technology Support Center.

You can also launch Microsoft Office applications through Office 365, AnyWare Apps & Desktop.

Microsoft Office & Windows for University Use

Free for Faculty & Staff

Faculty & staff can download Microsoft Office and Windows for university-owned devices.

Microsoft Office downloaded through Office 365

Free for Faculty & Staff

Microsoft Office is available to current faculty and staff to download for free while employed at UConn on up to five personal devices through Office 365.

Primary email address must be @uconn.edu

The Microsoft Imagine program is now Microsoft Azure Dev Tools for Teaching. To access please visit https://aka.ms/devtoolsforteaching and use your UConn email account with NetID password.
