Microsoft recently announced that they would be ending support for SCEP for Mac, Microsoft’s antivirus solution for university-owned Macs, on December 31, 2018.  The product will not immediately stop functioning, but it will no longer be updated with new signatures.  SCEP for MAC was a rebranded version of a product made by ESET and Microsoft has executed an agreement with ESET to provide enterprise customers ESET Endpoint Protection for one year as a bridging strategy.  ITS will support the migration of university-owned Macs to the supported ESET product while we explore and pursue a long-term antivirus solution.
