Special Needs
New Symantec Antivirus releases for both Windows 7 and Mac OS 10.6 are available and posted to the http://antivirus.uconn.edu website.
Please note that installation of Macintosh version of Symantec utilizes the consumer-based Norton suite, in lieu of Symantec not having a version of their corporate client available in time for the release of the new Mac OS (expected ETA = end of 2009). We have confirmed that this version of NAV will not expire as do other version of NAV, but will require folks to remove any version of SAV-Mac already installed on their system.
Instructions on how to remove prior versions (for both Win and Mac versions) are also posted in the installation instructions.
