Stuffit

Overview

StuffIt is a file decompression utility with the ability to uncompress virtually every known compressed file type - Mac or Windows. Standard and Deluxe versions are available to compress files as well.

Available to all UConn students, faculty and staff.

Free download for StuffIt Expander.
Standard & Deluxe versions available from vendor's website at cost.

System Requirements

A variety of different versions are available depending on the version of the Mac OS you are running. The breakdown:

• Mac OS X 10.4 and higher - Version 11.x
• Mac OS X 10.3 - 10.3.9 - Version 10.x
• Mac OS X 10.1 - 10.2 - Version 8.x
• Mac OS Classic 8.6 - 9.x - Version 7.x
