Minitab is a statistical software that provides data analysis tools relatively easy to use.

Eligibility

Minitab is available for installation at all UConn campuses and can be installed on computers owned by the University (faculty, staff, and labs).

Cost

Free. Only $10 is charged for the media.

• Expirations Date: 6/30


• Renewed yearly

Distribution

The UConn contract is a "mix and match" meaning installation sites can install both the Windows and Macintosh platform up to the total amount provided for each campus. Check with your campus site administrator for detail or view the computer facilities to locate install labs. Each campus noted below has a 100-user license. Undergraduate students can purchase Minitab, the full version copy, from the UConn Co-op (approximate cost: $99.00).

Special Needs

Users must upgrade any previous versions of Minitab to the current version 15. All down-level versions will not be supported after January 2008.
